Lanesend-Blue Scooters

Through the Isle of Wight Council’s Active Travel grant, we were able to order 30 scooters for our children to enjoy. These lovely new scooters will benefit our PE lessons and after-school club by providing our children an opportunity to actively create and transform their own ideas into endless movement opportunities. Balance and coordination will also be put to the test in upcoming scooter competitions.
Each child and teacher will be given an induction lesson on controlling their speed and direction before propelling their board on wheels.
Our Lanesend colour-themed scooters, with matching helmets, look very stylish on school grounds.
