The Primary Island Games

The Primary Island Games has been taking place over the past few weeks across the island. Each school in the Cowes Cluster took on a sport to compete at in the Island Games.

Events included cricket, athletics, archery, rugby, triathlon amongst others.

We were given archery. The children had to fire 3 arrows from 5 distances (15 arrows in total). The scores were added up as a team. Lanesend Came 2nd In the archery competition. All scores from each event was then added together for each cluster - The Cowes CLuster won the Primary Island Games overall! We are the first school to look after the cup in our cluster!
